These items can be uploaded to your secure Box.com folder or sent via Wetransfer.com

2) COLLABORATION TOOLS

2) TRELLO

Trello is a great online platform for communication and project management. I use this to send messages, share files and track progress during the process. This will help keep content and images together in one place (vs. searching in email threads). Messages will post directly in Trello and can be easily found. Once your project is underway, you’ll receive an email to join the Trello board set up for your project, and we’ll be off and running!

3) BOX

Box is a great online image/file sharing platform. You could easily upload images in Trello, but if you have more than 15-20 images for your website or if they’re too big, we can use Box. Similarly, you can also use this to share login information instead of sending through email. I will set up a folder for the project and share the link with you. You can upload all images and files there.

4) WETRANSFER

Wetransfer is another great option for online image/file sharing. It’s super easy to upload and send large files to a recipient, who will receive a link via email to download the files. Files are available for download up to 7 days, unless you use a paid account.

3) DESIGN PROCESS

Designing a website, no matter how big or small, is an elaborate process

To help eliminate overwhelm, I have outlined my 3-step process below

BOOK & PURCHASE

First book an appointment to discuss your. Next make a payment and select your Instant Site design, so we can start immediately with your project.

Instant websites were created to help save time required with such projects. These websites are designed with aesthetics and functionality business owners in your field of service and expertise need the most. They work for any type of service provider.

DEVELOPMENT

Provide your preferred domain name, included with hosting. Starter content is part of the Instant websites, but we recommend to adjust the text, or use your own to make it uniquely yours. Should you need help rewriting starter content, we can assist one time.

Four (4) website revisions are included and we will test the site to make sure it works well across all devices and web browsers before going live.

FINAL EDITS

After checking each page for spelling, grammar and design tweaks, it will be time for the final review.

You will have four rounds of revisions. Your feedback determines how soon your site will be live and be ready for the world.

That's all there is to making an elaborate process less complicated than it has to be.

4) WRAPPING UP & GOING LIVE!

Once the site is ready to go live, all unnecessary plugins, pages, images and backend files will be removed. The new site will be backed up and saved locally, should it ever need restored. Once live, it may take between 24-48 hours for the new site to show on some devices. Some computers will need to be refreshed although most computers will see the new site immediately depending on the wifi connection and where they are in relation to the location of server that the website is on.

Your website logins and all credentials will be sent to you via Trello or Box.  Though your logins and passwords will be saved by me locally, PLEASE SAVE ALL LOGINS FOR YOUR RECORDS AS WELL. Upon completion, you’ll receive a link to my “moving forward” page where you’ll receive information, tips and tricks on what to do with your new website, as well as details on  Maintenance/Security Plans which I highly recommend for all my clients.
